I want to challenge you...
Are you looking for greatness? Is the reason you study and toil so hard is to be the greatest? Is the greatest to you being the multimillionaire or the greatest humanitarian out there? Is there a reason like that behind your motives? Further, are you toiling to study or achieve because of your parents also??
What will become of you when you achieve it all? Do you think it will last? Do you think that in the end everyone will remember your great achievement? Do you think that when this world does end and become more chaotic that people will revere you as you want them too? What happens after death? Doesn't everything get erased?
Then i challenge you to not live that way.
It's a great burden to carry. To carry all this pressure on you shoulders for something that is fleeting. Can you imagine a life where whatever you do you will be loved? Can you imagine a place where whatever you achieved would be eternally remembered? Can you imagine a place where you parent would be proud of you no matter your failures even the most darkest ones? Can you imagine a place where there is joy instead of sadness? Can you imagine a place where you understand the meaning of life and there is no question unanswered? Can you imagine a place where just being yourself, all your mistakes and flaws and all are the greatest source of affection?

things are changing...hopefully for the better =]
so things i learned this summer:
- child like faith = dependency
- faith is simple = obedience
- Do as God says or itll bite u in the butt
- my incapability to glorify God
- brokenness beyond repair
- God is a just God..not just loving |
